Pissu Top

Pissu Top, one of the most tough hill spots, is located in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir. Chandanwari is 3 km from here, enroute the Amarnath Shrine. Lying in southern Kashmir, Pissu Top is at an altitude of 3,377 m above sea level. From Pissu Top, there is a steep descent that leads to Sheshnag Lake. Zoji Bal and Naga Koti are nearby attractions.

Legend has it that once there occurred a conflict between Devatas and Rakshasas. The Devatas overcame the demons using the power of Lord Shiva. The dead bodies of these demons formed a heap which resulted in the formation of this high mountain.
