Pirzada Mahalla is the old Muslim quarter in Jhunjhunu, the largest city in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Jhunjhunu is 180 km north of Jaipur.
The major attraction here is a magnificent mosque dating back to 1500 AD. The mosque is surrounded by tombs. Beautifully painted havelis are also seen here. A wander through this sector offers a sight of dargahas, markets, and rows of shops painted in pastel greens, blues and pink.
Jhunjhunu Railway Station is the nearest railhead, which is under the management of North Western Railways.
