Piplan

Piplan, a small town in Bardhaman District of West Bengal, is situated about 31 km north-east of Bardhaman. The surrounding places include Gobindapur and Bara Belun in the west, Manteshwar in the north, Navadvipa in the east and Satgachia in the south.

Sonargouranga temple and Yogapitha, the birth place of Lord Chaitanya are two major points of interest around the town.

Barddhaman Junction Railway Station is its main station.
