Pichhalada

Pichhalada is a village located in Midnapore District. This is the place where Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu crossed the river Haldi by boat during his journey towards Panihati. Foot impressions of Lord Chaitanya are found in the Pichhalada Gaudiya Math.

Pichhalada can be easily reached from Tamluk, which is about 70 km from Kolkata. The nearest railway station is at Tamluk. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the closest air terminal.
