Phancha is located in north-eastern part of
Shimla District. It is around 40 km north of
Jeori.
Phancha is noted for its forest wealth. Agriculture and sheep rearing are the main occupation of the people. Phancha has no road connectivity and people have to walk for about three hours on foot to reach Ghanvi, nearest roadhead.
Shimla Airport is the nearest airport. Shimla Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
