Perur Thodu

Perur Thodu is a small river, which rushes through the Sabarimala forest. The place can be reached by traveling 4 km from Erumeli. The pilgrims usually take rest here and have a bath on their way to the Sabarimala.

Perur Thodu is considered to be the place where Lord Ayyappa rested during his expedition. The forest beyond Perur Thodu is said as poongavanam (Ayyappan's garden).
