Perakam

Perakam is a small village in Thrissur District. It lies near Chavakkad.

Shri Ayinippully Parvati Temple, a highly revered shrine dedicated to Goddess Parvati, is situated here. Shri Perakam Shiva Temple, Palayur Church, and Thekkumkattil Bhagavati Temple are the nearby places of worship. The Palayur Mahatheerthadanam attracts devotees from far and near.

Perakam can be accessed by local buses and taxies from Chavakkad and Thrissur. Thrissur Railway Station serves this area. The nearest airport is at Kochi.
