Pephu Cave

Secret Cave



Pephu Cave, situated near Sangmoo, is the easternmost of the four holy caves in Sikkim. It lies 5 km off the Singtam - Ravangla highway, towards Sangmoo, in South Sikkim District.

The Pephu Cave lies between Tendong and Maenam hills – it is said that the cavern extends to both the hill tops, the altitude ranging between 5 to 100 feet.

Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary is a famous wildlife sanctum nearby.

Bagdogra Airport and New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station serve Sangmoo.
