Penumanchili is a historic site of great archeological importance, located about 4 km from Achanta, in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. The statues of a Jain Tirthankar and Chaturmukha (four faced) Brahma were discovered from here during excavations. There are some old wells built by Zamindars of Mogalthuru.
