Peddapappur




Peddapappur is located in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the banks of the Cheyyeru River and is around 50 km north-east of Anantapur. It is noted for its handloom industries.

Ramalingeswara Temple, devoted to Lord Shiva, and the Chintala Tiruvengalanathaswami Temple, devoted to Lord Vishnu, are some of the noteworthy pilgrim spots in the region.

Nearest airport is Bangalore International Airport. Tadpatri Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
