Payammel Temple

Payammel Temple is an old temple devoted to Shatrughna, the brother of Lord Ram. It forms a significant part of the Nalambalam Yatra - a pilgrimage conducted during the Malayalam month of Karkidakam.

This shrine is located near Irinjalakuda and is 40 km from Thrissur.
