Pavakulam Sree Mahadeva Temple is an ancient Shiva temple located at Kaloor in Ernakulam, the nerve center of Kochi city. It is situated near the Kaloor private bus stand, about 50 m away on the road to Elemakkara.

The presiding deity here is Natarajamoorthy (Lord Shiva) seated eastwards with Nandi. The temple also enshrines the images of Goddess Parvati, Sree Dharma Shastha, Lord Ganesh, Chamundeswari and Lord Muruga. The idols of Nagaraja and Brahmarakshas (the soul of the past thanthri) are installed westwards outside the temple in the north-east side.

Thousands of devotees throng during the Thiruvathira Festival, which is held annually at the temple on the Thiruvathira day of the Dhanu month (December-January). Other festivals and ceremonies celebrated here are Shivaratri, Prathishatadina, Ramayana Masa Acharanam and Navratri Festival.

The temple can be easily accessed from the Ernakulam Town Railway Station (1 km) and the Ernakulam Central Bus Station (3 km).
