Located at an altitude 2,326 ft, Pattan is a small village in Betul District. It is near the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, about 13 km away from Multai.
By road, Amraoti (7 km west), Chichanda (13 km north) and Sendurjana (14 km south) are easily accessible from Pattan.
The nearest airport is Bhopal Airport. Betul Railway Station is the nearest major railway station. The National Highway 7 passes close to this town.
