Pattadakkal Dance Festival




Pattadakkal, a World Heritage Center and the second capital of the Chalukyan kings, is dotted with 10 major temples representing both north and south Indian architectural traditions. Pattadakkal Dance Festival is a major festival celebrated in the temples of Pattadakkal, situated about 29 km from Badami, in Karnataka.

Pattadakkal Dance Festival is organized annually by the Government of Karnataka, in the month of January. This festival of music and dance attracts many renowned as well as upcoming dancers. A craft mela is also organized to compliment the event.

The nearest railway station is at Badami. Pattadakkal is well connected by road to Badami, Bijapur and Aihole.
