Patrode, otherwise called as Alloo Wadi, is a mouth watering dish prepared by steaming stuffed colocasia leaves. The other ingredients are raw rice, coconut gratings, thuvar dal (red gram), red chillies, asafetida and tamarind pulp. This is one of the delicacies of Mangloreans.
