Patratu

Patratu is located in Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand. It is about 40 km north of Ranchi, the state capital.

Patratu Thermal Power Station, with a capacity of 840 MW, and Patratu coal mine are located here.

Hazaribagh, the district headquarters, is about 55 km north. The nearest airport is Ranchi Airport. Patratu Railway Station is on the Barwadih - Chandil railway line.
