Patiala Devi Temple




Patiala Devi Temple is a century old temple located at Chandigarh. Built by the former Maharaja of Patiala, Karam Singh, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa. Patiala Devi Temple was built to commemorate the king's victory over the surrounding hilly areas. Constructed with lime stone and pebbles in the North Indian style, the history of the temple dates back to 1840. The temple is beautifully adorned with many sculptures and carvings. This imposing white structure has three entrances. Mansa Devi shrine is situated nearby.
