Pathyar

About 12 km west of Palampur, Pathyar is in the northern part of Kangra District. Dharamsala, the district headquarters, is around 12 km north. Pathyar is surrounded by lush-green forests. In the neighborhood lie Kangra Art Gallery, Hari Kothi House, Lord Elgin's Memorial, Kareri Lake and Losel Doll Museum. Gaggal Airport and Kangra Mandir Railway Station facilitate tourists to this village.
