Held in Bhadravah valley of
Lahaul and Spiti District, Pata is a sacred fair of young girls. It is celebrated in the month of September, and is related to King Nagpal, who ruled this area during the reign of the
Emperor Akbar.
The shows performed by kudda dancers form the principal attraction of the fair.
