Parghoni is a popular folk dance in
Dindori District of
Madhya Pradesh. It is performed by the Baiga and Gond tribes of the district.
Performed by combined group of boys and girls, it is a major event in a wedding in the tribal community. An image of elephant is used for the dance purposes.
