Pardi




Pardi is a small town situated near Yavatmal District’s south-eastern border with Chandrapur District, in Maharashtra. It lies en route from Hirapur to Junad and is about 15 km south of Kayar. Chandrapur is around 20 km north-east. Bansadi is the nearest major settlement on the other side of the border.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are popular wildlife haunts in the district. Tadoba - Andharai Tiger Reserve, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary in Chandrapur District are within easy access from Junad. Chintamani of Kalamb, Shri Ranganath Swami Temple at Wani, Sahstrakund Waterfalls, Mahakali Temple and Jain Temple at Bhadravati and the natural trails around Moharli are other tourist options available.

Sonegaon Airport and Chandrapur Railway Station serve Pardi.
