Paramdham Ashram




Paramdham Ashram, also known as Paunar Ashram, is a famous spiritual center situated at Paunar in Wardha District of Maharashtra. It lies on the banks of the Dham River, about 8 km north of Wardha.

Established in 1938, Paramdham is the ashram of Acharya Vinoba Bhave, a Sarvoday leader of the Bhudan movement. The ashram displays some ancient sculptures of about 1500 years old.

Wardha Junction Railway Station is the nearest rail junction.
