Papora




Papora is a quaint village located 5 km south-east of Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh. It is a famous Jain pilgrimage center in Tikamgarh District.

The village consists of about 80 old Jain temples. A Jain temple of 24 Tirthankars is a major attraction. An important fair held in the month of Kartika sudi Poornima attracts large numbers of Jain devotees every year.

Papora is well connected to Tikamgarh-Jabalpur highway. Regular buses connect Papora with Tikamgarh.
