Papnash Shiva Temple

This popular Hindu pilgrim center dedicated to Lord Shiva is located in a lush green valley. A pond called Papnasha in front of the temple is supplied with water from a natural spring. It is believed that the shivling here is one of those installed by Shri Ram during the time of his return from Lanka. It is said that snakes guard the idol of Lord Shiva during Shivratri festival.
