Panchganga Mandir

Panchganga Mandir is an ancient shrine in Mahabaleshwar. It was built by Raja Singhandeo, king of the Yadav of Devgiri, in the 13th century. The temple was modified by Shivaji Maharaj.

Water from five different rivers named Koyna, Krishna, Venna, Savitri and Gayatri meets at this place and comes out from Gomukh (cow’s mouth) carved in stone.
