Pancaveni




Pancaveni, also known as Maha Prayag, is a sacred place located near to Uchahatta in Madhyadvipa, one among the nine islands of Navadvipa. It is the meeting place of Ganges, Bhagirathi, Yamuna, Bhagavati and Manasa Ganga.

It is believed to be the place where Lord Brahma together with the great rishis performed many sacrifices. Folklore is that who comes to this holy place and have a bath will not take rebirth. It is also known as Kuliya Pahada.
