Panamudeeswarar Temple




Panamudeeswarar Temple is located on Aladi Pillaiyar Temple Street in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines Lord Shiva as the presiding deity in the form of Panamudeeswarar. It is believed that the idol was established by serpents to worship the Lord for protecting them from the kite (a sacred bird).
