Panamaneesam Temple is situated on Iyyengar Palaya Street in
Kanchipuram. The main deity is God Panamaneeshwarar. The idol of
Lord Shiva, is believed to have been installed by the holy serpent
Vasuki in the name of Panamaneeshwarar. There is also a holy tank, Anantha Teertham, created by the divine serpent.
