In August 1999, Palnad Express (also spelt Palnadu Express) was introduced between
Guntur Junction Railway Station and
Secunderabad Junction Railway Station, to provide a convenient daytime service to the people of Guntur. Both stations are located in Andhra Pradesh. (Palnadu is the northern region of Guntur District.) The train operates daily and covers a distance of 282 km. Nalgonda is the main town on the way. Only A/C chair car coaches are available.

Secunderabad, leaves Guntur at 05:45 hrs.
Train number 2748: Secunderabad to Guntur, leaves Secunderabad at 14:00 hrs.
