Palli Bhagavathy Temple is situated at
Nilamperoor, a picturesque village in
Alappuzha District of
Kerala. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The temple has a history of about 1000 years.
The annual festival, Nilamperoor Patayani, is observed in the month of September. Huge crowds flock from across the states to the shrine during the festive time. The Patayani is the main attraction of the festival.
Palli Bhagavathy Temple is about 16 km from Kottayam and 32 km from Alappuzha.
