Pali




Situated at an altitude of 1,499 ft above mean sea level, Pali is one of the prominent towns in Lalitpur District. It lies to the south of Lalitpur and 20 km from Deogarh.

The temple of Neelkantheshwar Trimurti of the Chandela period is the main attraction. This temple, amid the dense forest, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Deogarh, the most important place of attraction in the district, is directly connected by an arterial road with Pali.

Dhaura Railway Station, at a distance of 11 km, is the nearest railway station. Nearest airport is Civil Airport Khajuraho. Accommodation facilities are available at Deogarh and Lalitpur.
