Palair Reservoir




Palair Reservoir is a medium irrigation project located at Palair in Kusumanchi, Khammam District. It is a place of scenic beauty ideal for nature lovers. Spread over an area of 7600 hectares, this reservoir has a capacity of 2.55 TMC (Thousand Million Cubic Feet). The water from this dam is diverted to more than 17 canals in the area including Bonakal branch canal and Mangapuram branch canal. The Fisheries Department of Andhra Pradesh regularly arranges research for reservoir fish here. Rajeswarapuram, famous for the Kailash Sugars Ltd, is easily accessible from here. Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport.
