Paharni

Paharni is a small settlement one would come across en route to Dighori from Nagbhir, about 10 km before reaching the destination. It lies quite close to Chandrapur District’s northern border with Wardha District and is around 25 km from Pauni, which is on the other side of the border.

Tadoba - Andharai Tiger Reserve, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary are popular wildlife haunts in the district. The natural trails around Moharli and Tadoba, Tadoba Museum and Ramdegi Temple and the Jain Temple at Bhadravati are the other tourist options for visitors to this place.

Sonegaon Airport and Nagbhir Junction Railway Station serve Paharni.
