Also called Pahari Buzurg, Pahari is a north-western town of
Chitrakut District. It is about 15 km from Lohra, 18 km from Karvi and 22 km from Oran.
Rajapur, the birth place of Tulsidas, is around 20 km from here. Chitrakut, in the Bundelkhand region, is a well known town blessed with natural beauty and sacred spots. Chitrakut Ramlila is an important festival celebrated in the district.
Chitrakutdham Karvi Railway Station and Civil Airport Khajuraho are the nearest access points.
