Paangu Paara is a huge rock located at Vilakkupaara village in
Kollam District. The village is 13 km from
Punalur. It can be climbed only through one side of the mountain, as the three sides are too steep to approach. This is a scenic area with wild animals and in the backdrop, one can see the beautiful view of the Sahya mountain ranges.
Punalur Railway station is the nearest railhead.
