Paakka Pureswarar-Aatchi Konda Nathar Temple is situated at
Acharapakkam. The temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva. There is a separate sanctum for Goddess Balasukhambal. Inscriptions from the period of Raja Raja Chola II are preserved in the temple. The sthala vriksham (sacred tree) is Konrai and the
teertham is Deva Theertham.
Sage Sambandar has contributed pathigams in praise of Aatchi Konda Nathar. The main festival is the annual Bhrammotsavam celebrated in the month of
Chithirai (mid April-mid May).
