Omkar Hills

Situated at an altitude of 2,800 ft, Omkar Hills is one of the highest points in the city of Bangalore. At the top of the hill, there is a large 600-year-old banyan tree surrounded by eight small shrines of different religions. This banyan tree is aptly named as 'Sarvadharma Samanvaya Peetha' which means seat of equality for all religions. One can have a panoramic view of the city from Omkar Hills. The remarkable attraction of this hill is a huge clock tower with four tall pillars supporting the huge dial with a diameter of 24 ft. Omkar Hills is situated near Rajarajeshwari Nagar off Mysore Road.
