Old Manali is about 3 km from Manali in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. A series of small guest houses and cafes are found on the way to the village. Most of the houses in the village have heavy stone roofs and wooden balconies.
Maharishi Temple, dedicated to Sage Manu, and the ruins of Manaligarh Fort are the places to visit.
This village is now a popular haunt for budget travelers to stay in.
