Nungbi




Located 120 km northeast of Imphal, Nungbi is a small village in Ukhrul District. This is the only village in the north-east where one can find blackware pottery. Tangkhul Tribe mostly inhabit this village. They still practice their traditions and customs and earn a living through farming, piggery and pottery. The village is accessible from Ukhrul along the Imphal-Ukhrul-Jessami highway. Ukhrul is 40 km from this village.
