Northern India Engineering College is located in
Lucknow city,
Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1999 and is managed by the Babu Banarasi Das Group of Educational Institutions. The college is affiliated to the
Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and
Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University,
Agra, and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Bachelor of Technology courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Pharmacy. Post-graduation courses in Business Administration, and Computer Application are also provided. The training and placement cell of the college conducts personality development, team building, group activations, and mock interview session programs.
The college houses a library, seminar hall, drawing hall, canteen, temple, nursery, bank, stadium, printing press, and a stadium. Medical facilities and yoga centre are also arranged. Separate hostel facilities with modern amenities are arranged for boys and girls.
