Nittur




Nittur is a renowned Jain pilgrim center located in the Gubbi Taluk of Tumkur District. It is on the on the Tumkur-Arsikere highway. This serene village is famous for the Nittur Jain Temple built in 1175. The temple is decorated with artistic and attractive carvings on the ceilings.

Devotees from different parts of the state visit this temple. Sri Gubbi Channabasaveshwara Swamy Temple and Gubbi Jain Temple are worth visiting.

Gubbi Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
