Established in 1982, Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic is managed by Nitte Education Trust. Located at Nitte Campus near
Karkala, it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education,
New Delhi, and recognized by Government of Karnataka. It offers three year diploma courses in apparel design and fashion technology, civil engineering, computer sciences engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, and Commercial practice (English).
The polytechnic is equipped with necessary infrastructural facilities which includes well stocked library, indoor stadium and hostel facilities for boys and girls. The curriculum involves extra and co curricular activities to develop the skills of the students.
