Nirvana Paragliding School is a venture an adventure sports company, Nirvana Adventures, which has been set up to offer paragliding classes and training for the adventurous lot in the country. The school is based at Kamshet, a beautiful hill station nestled amidst the Western Ghats, in Maharashtra. Nirvana Paragliding School offers training in the areas of rock climbing, outdoor surviving skills, water activity and earthbound adventures apart from providing paragliding lessons. Residential programs designed for youths, weekend adventure packages meant for adults and multi-activity designed for groups form the core of its program. Tandem Flights, a glide over the beautiful hills and fields, piloted by an instructor comes handy for a fresher. Accommodation facilities are available at Native Place, a sister concern of Nirvana Adventures, located beside the Vadivali Lake. Hill walking, eco trail, bird watching and waterfall tracking are other activities at Native Place.
Kamshet is 110 km east of Mumbai and 60 km north-west of Pune. The twin hill stations of Lonavala and Khandala are just 11 km away. Lonavala Railway Station serves Kamshet.
