Niravi




Niravi is a small village in Karaikal District. It is 6 km south of Karaikal.

The highlight is Sri Jambunatha Swamy Temple, a 300-year-old shrine, which is believed to have been built by Thirumalai Raman.

Popular of the festivals celebrated here are Thiruvathirai, Thirukkarthigai and Vaikunta Ekadashi. Vaikunta Ekadashi is held at Kariamanickaperumal Temple.

Buses are available from Karaikal to reach Niravi.
