Nimo




Nimo, on the Leh-Srinagar highway, is one of the scenic villages in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the confluence point of the Indus River and the Zanskar River. The strong influence of Buddhist culture is evident in the area.

Nimo is a popular spot for river rafting and other adventure sports. The best time to visit here is between July and October.

Places of interest nearby are Zanskar and Padum. Nimo can be reached from Leh, which is 36 km away.
