Nimaj is in
Pali district in
Rajasthan. It is bounded by places of historical interest. A temple devoted to goddess
Durga constructed in the 9th century, and the Chattar Sagara Lake that flows between two hills are located there. A hundred year old hunting lodge and an art gallery that exhibits some works of sculptural art are the major attractions.
One can watch rural life at close quarters and enjoy the pleasing pastimes of the villagers.
