New Star Theater is one of the ancient theaters located in Kolkata. Established in 1888, this theater has witnessed the debut of legendary actors like Teenkari Chakraborty, Durgadas Bandopadhyaya and Ahindra Choudhury. It was made air-conditioned in 1950.
