Netaji Museum




Situated in Kolkata, Netaji Museum is a full-fledged biographical museum. It was originally the ancestral house of Subhash Chandra Bose. A vast collection of articles, collected from different parts of the world, can be seen here.

The front entrance of the museum is graced with a marble plaque bearing the name of Janaki Nath Bose, the father of Subhash Chandra Bose. The top floor houses numerous photographs, documents and articles relating to Netaji?s life. Prominent of the collections are Bose?s original passports and some curios brought from Burma.

A conference room is attached to the museum, which houses the outstanding oil paintings of Subhash Chandra Bose and Sarat Chandra Bose.
