Neelnerinadhar Temple is situated at Kannamangalm in Tiruvarur District. The temple deity is Lord Shiva known by the names Neelnerinadhar and Sthirapuriswarar. In the front of the sanctum there is a mandapam which holds the idols of Kochenguttuva cholan, Arivattayar, Appar, Sundarar, Sambandar and Manikavasagar. The main festival is Aruppu vizha (Arivattayar guru puja) which occurs in the Tamil month of Thai. One can approach the temple from Thiruvarur or Thirutharaipoondi by buses.
