Neelakandar Temple is located at Tirumannippadikkarai in
Nagapattinam District. The temple deities are
Lord Shiva as Neelakandar and Goddess Amrithakaravalliammai. This Shiva temple has an amritha theertham. The stala vriskham (tree) is elluppai. Saint Sundarar is said to have sung in this temple. The temple can be approached by traveling 13 km from Vaitheeswaran Kovil.
